Getting Real About Resolutions!
Many of us feel compelled to make New Years resolutions. Perhaps this is something we do routinely on January 1st every year, or we make it a point every once in a while. We want to lose a few pounds AND gain more muscle, eat less ice cream AND more veggies, drink less coffee AND more water, learn to play the piano AND run a marathon by years end.
We start out with much enthusiasm….for the first few weeks. Then things (life) happen, and we wonder why should we even try?!
Unrealistic expectations can often lead to frustration and disappointment. Perhaps making small resolutions with tangible goals and celebrating every milestone would go a long way to eventual success?!
What are your resolutions or goals for the New Year? What do you think your challenges or obstacles would be and how will you plan to overcome them? How do you plan to make the changes stick?
I would love to hear from you on how you are planning on making 2017 (even) better than last year. Please share with me your goals or your vision, and how you plan to get there!
Wishing you all much health, happiness, and meaningful connections in the New Year,
